DAY 6 (POST TRIAL) ALFENDI & SHIJIMA & BIGBY & ELIZABETH & ALICE

[selfdenying]

[Well, what a trial. Back and forth accusations between several people, a search for wounds, inquiries galore, the discovery that Bigby has weird kinks, Adam's sudden confession...it was one giant rollercoaster, but somehow, they've all made it. Somehow, this apartment is still ticking away with its strange inhabitants, now plus one in the form of Elizabeth.]

[Alfendi seems pleased by the whole affair- outwardly, at least. Once they've all gathered, he pulls out Bigby's whiskey bottle from last time, offering it to his fellow roommates (and Liz) with a devilish smile. It looks like his nicer side still isn't ready to come out - and honestly, he still looks sickly, but he's in a good mood.]

[He lets out a laugh.]

Well, I'm pretty sure I'm going to die. I don't suppose anyone is going to help me write my last will and testament?

[Another laugh as he sits on the edge of the couch, smiling wide,]

Anyways, never mind that, we're not out of the woods yet. We may have caught the guilty party, but there are still a few rats running around. What are everyone's thoughts on the matter? [A beat, as he glances to their newest occupant.] Also, before I forget, I just wanted to give a warm welcome to Elizabeth. You definitely came to the right place.

I'm a little bit worried about that, but I hope they're not that stupid. What I want to know now that we don't have a vote hanging over our heads, though, is why they did it.

Of all the people to send someone after... why him? He's not even the biggest jerk here.

Most of us will probably die before this is over. We're too loud and we're usually too right. Alice and I were suggesting Adam all day and being told that couldn't possibly be the case more often than not. Because romance, or something.

[He laughs.]

And I got my guess right twice in a row, apparently. First Luke, now him. I was pushing Adam quite hard, too. I think they'll kill me before they kill any of you, so don't you all worry.

Yes, I can. His idea of "innocence" is an odd one. I do agree none of us are completely that, but I think it silly to put more blame on those who haven't actually physically killed someone here or been party to the murders than to blame those who vote simply because there is no other option.

[puffing]

Okay, see? I'm not going around fucking bragging about what happened. I'm roomed with people way more twisted than me.

Also? Cutting the tongue isn't even going to kill someone. If you're going to do it, do it right.

"Don't push him too hard, he's grieving!" "Oh, those poor lovebirds!" Ugh, it was maybe four days. That kind of sentiment makes me sick.

[She's also salty. And actually sick. Her face is not a good, healthy color.]

I still think Cici's reeeeally suspicious, though. Even though he's not the one who killed Franzy.

I think that Rhys boy takes the title without a question, but that's just me.

I want to say I respect the initiative. But you have a whip of all things and... it's just a scary ass thought, okay.

[ she's smiling too damn much for her own good. ]

They have many better people to pick at after how many of them showed their ass today. You're right, though. They're all pretty stupid.

He's just an odd little duck, in general. I'm not at all upset he's gone. The weasel deserved it. And honestly, he only confessed to save others from being suspected, in my opinion.

[He shakes his head.]

I wonder how he was able to kill, and yet wasn't a staff member himself? Isn't that quite the strange thing?

Who said I was going to kill anyone? I'm good at causing people despair. Not being able to speak would be hilarious to see.

[someone duct-tape his mouth]

And fine! We have better things to talk about, anyways.

[puffing]

[ don't worry. he's going to get fed up with this and move to the bed shortly enough. ]

Considering we don't have a choice but to sleep, it's better than most rooms. I didn't mean to make as much of a mess as I did, though.

[ as if he can control how much he can bleed. ]

[ Alfendi, obviously, but he doesn't think of the poor guy as being able to defend himself with anything tbqh. ]

I'll agree. We've been right each time so far, haven't we? And I also thought that four days was far too fast, and they were covering for one another far too much.

[ a shrug. ]

He may not have been staff, but he killed someone over a petty grudge. I don't really mind that sort of thing, but it's a nuisance right now when we need to kill the people who set this all up.

Also, if you're going to kill over a grudge, you may as well own up to it rather than justifying your actions. There's no justification for it, after all. If you can't accept that, it's stupid, isn't it?

It is. It had to have been allowed by either the staff or yet another of those "six people". But I find it difficult to believe the six people would allow Franziska to perish.

[selfsufficiency]

Look, I didn't want to leave it lying around for someone else to take.

[Especially since there are so many other weapons floating around apparently... and what happened to Kei's sword, anyway?]

They're stupid and sentimental, which is a dangerous combination.

[ without warning, there's a scalpel twirling in her fingers. ]

I've been armed since the first day, of course.

He was a hypocrite. Which isn't a bad thing by itself - but he was a weak hypocrite, so he deserved what he got.

[#logic. Apparently the fact that he confessed to keep them from killing a kid didn't earn him any points in her book...]

If he wasn't prepared to own it, then he definitely shouldn't have taken someone else's life into his hands. It's as simple as that.

I agree. Well, at least we won't have to hear him go on and on about how Luke was innocent and we were all dreadful for voting for him, even those of us who didn't.

[ APPARENTLY, SHIJIMA DOES NOT...FEEL BAD ABOUT ADAM'S DEATH AT ALL...the only person she misses remotely is lara. lara made her snacks? what the fuck. ]

It would be nice if next time we were able to catch a staff member.

Some of those six people tried to get someone to kill Bigby this morning, or do you not remember that? Apparently, they're just as bad as staff if they're allowing innocent people to murder others without a single care in the world.

[ They were fucking ready. Liz nudges her waistband again because yup she sure is still concealing. ]

Two scalpels, rat poison and now a whip. Anything else we want to mention as a group now and not save as a surprise for later?

No, I do, but at least with Bigby there's some cause. [ a pause. ] No offense, Bigby. But you at least have some remotely suspicious qualities. Franziska didn't seem at all likely to be Staff to me, and if their supposed goal is to "work against" Staff, they ought to be targeting likely Staff members.

So, I think there were people more likely than Franziska for that.
