DAY 7 (DAY) - ALFENDI & GUY
[It isn't a good day for Alfendi. Then again, in this place, it's never a good day. At least it's peaceful and devoid of real life body parts (glass eye not counting, of course), but still, what with still being sick from the fountain water, and being stuck in a personality ever so ready to fight the world, things aren't going as well as Alfendi would've liked.]
[He's just sitting here in the cafeteria after a recent bout of vomiting, too sick to even consider even eating - currently he's just writing up a storm in his notebook, grumbling as he's jotting down lines of code. When he sees Guy enter he glowers at him through his mess of hair:]
What do you want? If you don't have anything to say, get lost.

I came to see how you're holding up. And get your thoughts on something.

[What a grouch. He closes his notebook, giving Guy his full attention.]
My thoughts? Well, now, and what might that something be?

[it's called being a decent person, gosh]
The trials, mostly. Honestly, I feel like a tiny piece of a huge puzzle, I'm trying to make sense of it. You're a pretty smart guy. I thought I'd ask for your opinion.

[He only lets out a huff at that, though, leaning back in his chair and folding his arms.]
What, my opinion on how to be more active in trials? [He scoffs, even looking amused by Guy's use of phrasing.] Ha, a tiny piece of the huge puzzle...anyways, it's simple, stupid. Just keep a track on the bigger pieces of the problem. There are clues to solving that problem and you look at the people around you and see what fits. Is a person acting suspicious? What do you know about them? It's all about connecting the dots.
Is that what you need for advice...or do you want me to explain you something else?

Hard to do with a trial full of strangers, though. I haven't had much luck getting to know people, have you?
[He keeps his voice pretty mild, but it's clear he's still interested in this]
And, uh, what happened to the.... [how does he phrase this tactfully] other Alfendi?

[All the notes he made seems to point to a talker...or maybe a stalker.]
Him? [He lets out a short laugh.] Beats me! Why, you wanna talk to him? I don't think he just pops out via request. Even I can't predict when we switch.

Well, more like I'd just like to get it. It isn't weird to you that there are two of you in one body? Can you communicate?
[therapists don't exist in Abyss, is this a surprise to anyone]

[He lets out another short, bitter laugh at that question, shaking his head.]
It's more than weird. It's annoying. And no, we can't, besides using this notebook to help. It's like we have our own little apartments up in my own noggin. We can never experience the same thing.
